Dave Taylor was once described as Boulder, Colorado’s only homeless man and that, “Even Boulder’s homeless help people - oh wait, that’s not a homeless guy! That’s Dave Taylor!”
Now because we don’t really think that Dave is really all that bad, we’re just going to give him crap about his website where he answers reader questions (if he actually has readers! ;-)). Yes, someone supposedly asked, When was the last time Google visited my website?
His answer:
Click on the “Cached” link and you’ll be shown an archived copy of the Web page from Google’s internal storage system, with a long, complicated header that’s oh-so-important to our quest. The first line says: “This is G o o g l e’s cache of the URL as retrieved on May 16, 2008 07:00:18 GMT.”
My answer:
Google doesn’t care about you or your pitiful site. Move on.
